Crossing the Equator in March
This year I will be speaking at two conferences the first two weekends of March in two different hemispheres of the world!
This first one is Snowforce is in Salt Lake City, Utah in the United States. It is a large, relatively old conference with a large following. I attended this conference last year and did a write up on it. This year it has a sweet, new venue called The Depot! Snowforce is THE Salesforce conference to interact with the Silicon Slopes community. The conference has an amazing lineup, covering the full spectrum of Salesforce (not just development).
The second one is Punta Dreamin' in Punta del Este, Uruguay. This will be the inaugural year for this conference aimed primarily at Salesforce Developers. Punta Dreamin' is at the Hotel Conrad, in the beach resort Punta del Este region. Uruguay is a very interesting country, with great education and the highest literacy rate in Latin America. There are some amazing Salesforce Developers there that I look forward to meeting.
I'll be speaking about HyperBatch: A Hyper-Fast Batchable Interface for Salesforce. I've learned many techniques on how to process large data volumes quickly on the Salesforce platform while working at Kenandy. HyperBatch stems out of my knowledge of how the Salesforce platform works when you push it to its extremes. HyperBatch uses the Salesforce Multitenant architecture to its advantage, to get large jobs done quickly.
It will be a lot of traveling, but totally worth it. I can't wait to learn and share from a diverse group of accomplished professionals on opposite sides of the equator.
Nice write-up Daniel - look forward to hearing how they go!
