Crossing the 1 billion mark and entering a new era with EGISS

TODAY – we are marking a milestone for EGISS – crossing that magic ONE BILLION revenue mark (in DKK) – all coming from pure organic growth – while still maintaining a strong profitability.

In Denmark where EGISS is headquartered, EGISS enters an exclusive group of less than 500 companies that have passed that 1 billion DKK mark (~152 MUSD). We still have some very hectic days ahead of us this week – and we will see how much above the one billion mark we will end out.

When I founded EGISS in 2013, I was convinced that EGISS and its value proposition truly had the potential to become something special.

From day one, my primary focus has been to find the right group of people to work with me on realizing the vision of becoming the world’s leading provider of global IT logistics services for large global corporations. We are well on our way to realize that vision and our value proposition is becoming stronger every day!

People is key to the success EGISS has experienced – and as we continue to grow, EGISS’ success depends even more on the people. We see ourselves as a family of strong minds and lion hearts – and any given day, we value the lion hearts higher than skills. Entering this year’s last quarter, we were a total of 72 members of the global EGISS family and I am proud to say that each and every one of them are indeed “the right people”!

In March 2021, all shares in EGISS Group were acquired by a UK based Private Equity fund – EMK Capital. Personally, I remain second largest shareholder of EGISS in its new construction – and with the addition of EMK Capital, its skills and experience as well as financial power, I see an even brighter future for EGISS.

Along with our new majority shareholder, EGISS wish to be able to provide more relevant services and capabilities to our customers – and with a continuously larger geographical footprint. For the first time in EGISS’ relatively short life, we acquired a company in October 2021 – Scriptor Technology with its 19 employees and new members of the EGISS family. Scriptor is specialized in Managed Print Solutions – and for the very same customer group as EGISS have been focusing on since we founded the company – large global corporations. As per 1st of January 2022, they will be named EGISS Print Solutions.

I don’t foresee that acquisition as a stand-alone event – more acquisitions will come as we strive to follow our ambitious growth plans.

I also want to thank our strong and loyal OEM partners – that keeps coming up with amazing new technology and services that we and our customers can utilize to continue our digital transformation processes around the world. With the industry-wide challenges with supply constraints and shortages – in combination with EGISS’ global buffer stock capabilities – our joint offering is more relevant than ever, and our partnership have become even stronger!
