CROSS IT, QUIT IT OR BURN IT?

At some point in our careers, many of us come to a bridge too far. On the other side, competency, good judgement and truthfulness are expected but unreciprocated. We can trudge ahead despite what the past has taught us personally, or our observations of how the people who went before us were treated. We can quit, leaving behind the security and fraternity of the people we call friends. Some have even chosen to set the whole damn thing alight. There is no easy or right decision. But if you’re ever standing at the foot of this bridge, remember you didn’t build it. It was there before you arrived, and it will be there no matter what you decide. All you can do is make a decision, stand by it wholeheartedly, and work your hardest to make it the best choice for you.
