Cross “Lose Weight” From Your To-Do List (Forever)

Cross “Lose Weight” From Your To-Do List (Forever)

Are you someone who “crushes it” in every other area of your life except when it comes to your weight?

Do you feel as if you and your body are on two different pages and lately, it’s holding you back from your next level of success?

Do you want to feel lighter, tighter, and a sense of vibrancy that matches your professional ambition?

If so, then the crossroads you’re currently in is one where you don’t want to just measure success in career milestones, but in the way you look and feel while doing it.

Our bodies are one of the most powerful partners in our lives. They react naturally and truthfully to how we think, how we move, what we process emotionally, and even how we view them.

If we are stressed, our bodies respond with tight muscles or headaches.

Our minds may tell us stories, but our bodies never lie!

So how do we get on the same page with our bodies so that we can experience the power of this great partnership?

This looks different for everyone, and a great place to begin is consciously making a commitment to be WILLING to let go of your struggle.

Everyone has their own stuff and each person’s struggle is highly personal to them, even if it sounds similar to others.

Whatever caused you to become disconnected to your body most likely is a byproduct from how you have created your current level of success.

The Heart Centered High-Perfomer’s Paradox

If you are a high-performer who is equal parts smarts and heart, and are known for (and take pride in) getting everyone’s needs met, then you are most likely viewed as someone who is reliable, hard working, and kind.

All great attributes. However, when someone like this starts taking energetic hits to their vitality in the pursuit of being helpful over the long term, they run the risk of going “off-line” from their personal needs. ?

In order to give more, they grow in their capacity to need less - tolerating more.

Eventually, they get to a place where they can’t even articulate what their needs are anymore and unconsciously fall victim to the “need of being needed”.

This way of being is a part of their outdated belief system that their needs are unimportant, and only get in the way of helping others. Ugh, the guilt they have to deal with. ?

No two people experience the world in the same way. Everyone experiences life through the “filter” of his or her personal history.

When someone is struggling becoming a fitter version of themselves, it’s almost always predicated on their relationship with what they believe they are capable based on past experiences. ?

The interesting thing about belief systems is that if they are not serving you in a favorable way, they can be changed to ones that are more in alignment with your values.

If you want to cross “lose weight” off of your to-do list forever, be willing to let go of your “struggle story”, get pissed off for greatness, and shift into a new way of being - one new empowering thought and supportive action step at a time.

What do you need to let go of in order to step into complete ownership over your health and wellness for good?

What new habits, routines, and non-negotiables can you "crowd-in" your day to day decision making process so that it naturally crowds out the ones that no longer serve you?

Who are you willing to become in order to start doing these things? Whoever it is, it's 100% the very BEST version of who you are. I recommend you meet your acquaintance again.

Mind your business.

Blessings,

Coach Chris
