Today, I want to dive into the Pages section of Google Search Console, a feature that can make or break your site's visibility. This issue is more common than you might think and can severely hinder your SEO efforts. If your pages aren't indexed, they simply won't rank—no matter how much effort you put into optimizing them.
So, how do you determine the indexing status of your pages? It's simple: head over to Google Search Console and check. But here's where things get tricky—you'll need to figure out why some pages aren't indexed. In many cases, the problem lies in the content itself. If the copy on the page is low-quality or outdated, Google isn't going to waste resources ranking it. (Here’s an example of a 10-year-old post on the BSM site that is simply too outdated to rank.)

To get these pages indexed and improve their chances of ranking, you'll need to revamp the content, ensuring it provides real value and aligns with Google's helpful content guidelines . This process may take time, but it's essential for making sure your SEO efforts aren't in vain.
