One of the justifications (excuses) for not having good (if any) cycling infrastructure in most Kenyan cities is that there are not enough cyclists to justify spending money on such infrastructure. Well, Guess what! We are proving those reports wrong!
Nairobi has so many cyclists and even more people who wish to cycle but end up not cycling because of poor or lack thereof of good cycling infrastructure. You build them and see Nairobi transform right in front of your eyes.
Have you also ever wondered how people using wheel chairs travel? How they go about commuting to and from work, school or how they just move around our cities? Can you picture how their lives would be transformed if we had good cycling infrastructure?
