By now, you are most likely aware of Qualis’ exciting news previously announced by the Bluestone Investment Partners Managing Partner John Allen.? Qualis has long been known for its innovative solutions in certain niche critical technology areas that are very important to our national security and space programs.? ?Science and technology, through research and development are at the forefront of what we do every day to advance emerging technologies into usable space and defense systems for our nation. ?
The?Small Business Investment Company Critical Technologies?(SBICCT) Initiative is a joint effort based on a Memorandum of Agreement between the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) to increase private capital investment in critical technologies. Bluestone and Qualis are honored to be assigned the first SBICCT license.?
Current critical technology areas that Qualis is doing important research in today include:? 1. Trusted AI and Autonomy; 2. Integrated Network Systems-of-Systems; 3. Space Technology: 4. Advanced Computing and Software; 5. Hypersonics; and 6. Integrated Sensing and Cyber.? Within these broader categories Qualis is delivering innovative solutions in Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) / Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT); RF Engineering (Radar/Range EW Systems); Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML); Autonomous Systems; and Small Satellites – Payload Development and Rapid Prototyping.?
Qualis will be offering our critical technology solutions to new customers going forward as well as looking to investing in other small business technology companies via M&A.
