Mil Spec, Inc. is a reliable supplier of Navy service ‘A’ and ‘C’ electric motors manufactured in accordance with MIL-M-17059 and MIL-M-17060.

At MSI we work closely with our customers in reviewing drawings, designing, and manufacturing motors from quantity of 1 and above. We have manufactured over 38,000 electric motors for U.S. Navy application including 20,000 with the VPI sealed insulation system. These motors have passed Hi-Impact shock per MIL-S-901 in customer's application or as stand-alone motors.

MSI has completed qualification on electric motors as ranging from 1/30 HP to 30 HP; in both sealed and non-sealed applications. Previous applications vary from fans, pumps and cooling coils, to control valves; including low noise applications.

In some cases, our customers require stand-alone product; stators, rotors, or miscellaneous components. Mil Spec, Inc. is flexible in offering ship loose components when needed.

MSI has been a recipient of the Gold Medal Award from DSCR (Defense Supply Center Richmond) for each of the past ten years. This award recognizes exceptional quality and delivery performance in partnership with DSCR. Our rating for this ten year period, representing over 212 contracts, is a perfect 100%.

 Mil Spec, Inc. has the position to manufacture products based on our partnerships, and current supply (Range) of lamination's. In some cases, customers will request Mil Spec, Inc. to review drawings of previously designed motors due to the original motor manufacturers no longer having the ability to manufacture said motor. Mil Spec, Inc. will comply with the original form, fit, functionality of said motor (given our engineering department suggest we can meet the required SPEC).

We will assist in providing required qualifications by working closely with the OEM or the Navy itself. Mil Spec, Inc. provides very competitive lead times, and cost effective approaches for our customers.
