Measuring the quality of life in health
Currently a critical assessment of the quality of life measurements in the field of health is needed. This will expand the scope of efforts and increase the benefits received by patients on their well-being.
Quality of life is a unique and personal perception, which shows how individual patients feel about their health and / or non-medical aspects of their lives. Consequently, most measures of quality of life in the medical literature seem to exclude at least a fundamental dimension of the phenomenon: the perceptual dimension.
