Crisis is not Primarily to Destroy but to Redirect you to Potential

Crisis is not Primarily to Destroy but to Redirect you to Potential

I have been reflective over the past days and I have been faced head-on with a phrase which I always put out - "Crisis is not primarily to destroy but to redirect you to potential"

My previous definition of potential was opportunity - it was yet another "reason to take, yet another reason to seize, another reason to receive"

Now we are faced with a crisis and I have realised that the statement bares in it a totally different meaning; particularly when it is a health crisis.

The word Potential is made up of 2 words - Potent and ial. Potent meaning "strength" and ial meaning "within". Crisis comes to reveal our inner strength. It comes to reveal to us what really matters at the core of our existence.

Suddenly, that business does not matter anymore, suddenly that opportunity does not matter anymore, suddenly that meeting, that trip, that holiday does not matter anymore.

What matters is safety; safety of our lives, safety of our families, safety of our minds. But at the core is the safety of our souls (that inner strength). At the core of your existence, deep in your soul, do you feel safe?

Whether we recognise it or not social distancing/self-isolation has forced us to look within (not without) and ask questions. How long would it last? We do not know. How would it affect our lives after? We are unsure though we hope and pray for the best.

Fam, this is a time to reveal how potent you have always been. This is a time to empower your inner man. This is a time of self-reflection. This is a time for meditation. This is a time for recalibration. This is a time to seek the source and sustenance of our inner man - God.

It is a time to muse and not time to merely focus on the news. It is time to unveil to you the true you. You have starved your potential for too long, now he has your attention, would you keep him lean?

Go within, feed Him.

I bid you to keep safe ????. More than the evolution of the world is the evolution of your soul
