Did you know that it’s actually a CRIME to have Telegram installed on your phone in Palestine since the start of this war?
Phones are the most dangerous and searched objects all over the occupied lands, and military checkpoints frisk every phone that passes through searching for either Telegram or photos of anything related to the resistance in your gallery
Upon searching a Palestinian’s phone, whether while raiding their house as they’re sleeping or stopping their car on outer-city routes or entrances, having Telegram on their phone leads directly to arrest (after a beating) and serves as an officially accepted court charge against them, under the pretext of “incitement of terrorism”. This was added to the list of despotic offenses Palestinians can get jailed for, for an average of 6 months or above, including social media posts related to resistance – or most recently in Jerusalem and the occupied 48’, liking a Facebook post! (Yes, that’s officially a crime Palestinians are arrested for every day)

This is the first genocide of its kind to be broadcasted in front of the whole world, which wouldn’t have been possible without social media and smartphones – and particularly Telegram. META-like media – last month, RT reported that there are 950 million active Telegram users in the world!
