I wasn't wrong.?

So, the last 6 months, since my post.?

I have broken a number of PB's and had some unforgettable, first time experiences. I FINALLY got my first sea bass on a lure. The action video can be found here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6Qp-EvsfW3/?igsh=a3RyMmVyZWVveHVm

As you can see I was fairly happy about it, and it was taken on my 730 day sober anniversary, imagine. 2 years in most peoples language. As I write, 772 days.

At work, I had my best year ever, by some margin. As mentioned in previous posts, my relationships across the board have grown even further since I made my decision to live a substantially better and more wholesome existence and be the best Son, Brother, Friend, Colleague, Mentor and Supplier I could be. There is always more work to do, but I am very happy with where things are at and so are my loved ones.?

The support I have had over the past months has been incredible, I mean check out my references! Humbling to say the least..

I also had support from other friends and mentors that were happy to talk with me about my situation, initial thoughts and plans, and provide guidance and potential actions that I could do next. For all the very generous offers I received also... You know who you are. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

When it was time to look for a new challenge, I actually followed my own advice (Not that easy to do!). I took a step back and went fishing. That put a lot of things into perspective. I then made a plan of what I wanted to do, pro's and con's of each plan, then reached out to people I trusted and respected for their help, then executed the chosen plan. I wrote all of that down so everything was out of my head and in a physical form. That was very important. Following those steps, I can happily say things have gone extremely well.

As you can see from my employment history, I don't move around a lot, so my next move was highly important.?

A key factor I was looking for was an organisation that aligned as closely as possible to my own values. You can see clearly what my values are in my references.

Delivery was obviously another key factor.?

So without further ado!?

I am extremely pleased, and super dooper excited, to announce that I have what I believe to be my perfect next step in my career.

Yesterday was my first day at Tieva in the role of Client Director. Never have I been so impressed with an engagement for employment (not that I have been in many processes over the last 20 years!). The open, honest, transparent, no nonsense approach was so beneficial. Thank you @Richard Locke, @Jon Sugden, @Carl Brownswood @Mark Hohenburg and @Mark Lee for your guidence through the process.
