No friends, it's not about comparing 2 sports..... Its basically referring to change of mindset. For years and decades, cricket is a religion in India. Infrastructure and facilities in cricket were always miles ahead compared to any other sport. Monetary rewards and a fixed salary were always associated with cricket only.

It always require something special to change mindset of millions. Era of RAMANATHAN KRISHNAN, followed by Vijay Amritraj and then Ramesh Krishnan and now LEANDER PAES, Mahesh Bahupathi, Sania Mirza and latest prodigy Sumit Nagal, it took few decades to establish Tennis in India.

Now with latest Wimbledon triumphs, TENNIS is sharing limelight only second to cricket in India. It has the infrastructure and a future for youngsters. May this growth continues..........
