This month we congratulated Daniil Bratchenko and the entire Integration.app team on coming out of stealth and announcing their seed financing! We're incredibly excited to be leading Integration.app’s $3.5M seed round with Cortical Ventures, alongside our friends at Seedcamp, Accel Starters, as well as executives from UiPath & DataRobot.

Integration.app is building the first AI-powered integrations stack, facilitating easy creation and management of customer-facing integrations. Leveraging Integration.app's AI, developers can set up an integration once and replicate it effortlessly, speeding up deployment and freeing them to focus on core features. Integration.app also offers a hundreds of pre-built connectors ranging from software for sales and marketing, to HR & recruiting, to accounting and finance.

We held biannual Founder's Dinner in New York, hosted in collaboration with JP Morgan! It was great to get the Crew family together ahead of the holidays to enjoy some delicious food, take part in engaging conversations, and celebrate the achievements made across our portfolio over the course of 2023.

What have our start-ups been up to this month?

• Roam, the cloud based platform designed to create a centralized headquarter for distributed companies, is now available on mobile.
• Common Paper, the contract collaboration software designed to improve the process of commercial contracting, released ContractGPT, a tool that makes dealing with bespoke contracts easy. Check out their brand new standard Letter of Intent (LOI) to help B2B startups validate their market and gain early traction with customers and investors.
• Grafana, the open source infrastructure monitoring platform acquired?Asserts.ai, a platform built to provide an easier way of exploring telemetry and deriving new insights for more efficient root cause analysis and faster issue resolution.
• SeekOut, the talent acquisition recruiting platform, launched SeekOut Assist, their first wave of generative AI technology that reflects their core principle of making human-driven AI-assisted technology.

• Seon, the online fraud fight prevention platform is looking for a VP of People based in the US.
• Rillavoice, the leading conversation intelligence software for outside sales is looking for a Head of Sales, Customer Success Managers and Software Engineers based in New York.
• Aktos, the operating system that powers the $18B Credit Collections industry is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (ideally backend leaning), and a Chief of Staff. The team is split across LA, NYC, and Canada, and is open to different geographies for this role, though time zones in ET or PT are preferred.

"When positioning your product, leverage context the buyer already has to reduce friction. Think of April Dunford’s example: selling “dessert on a stick” paints a very different picture compared to saying, “it’s like a lollipop, but it’s made of cake”. In this instance, the former confuses the audience (why would I put a slice of cake on a stick?) whereas the latter creates an instant visual image of what the product actually is. The buyer is able to fill in a familiar context, thus closing a huge gap between perception and reality.”
