It’s been more than 7 months that I issued the Crepmaster’s News Bulletin #18! The Covid Hysteria (that you have a right to beleive in or not) slowed me down on my production and follow-ups. At the end of 2019/early 2020 I was about to BOOM. “I’m back” more than ever since several months already.

Weeks before writing this bulletin I was taking notes to make sure to include some details, pictures and stories. We always want to make it short as people getting my bulletin don’t have plenty of time for it. I’ll have to admit that this one will be jam-packed of content and will look like the Crepmaster’s News Bulletin #10 but without the half dressed women and the “Voyeurs” section!??

I have a bunch on other sites too. I had 112 on Yellow Pages but they removed it as I stopped paying for their other services. I am the Magician that paid them most and they deleted my reviews even though they left the reviews on the other magicians that NEVER bought their services.?

During the?“adventure” lots of my shows were cancelled even if I paid for the ads (not paid back). I’m a clever and sane “conspiracy theorist”; Even though I considered that that imprisoning people in their home because of a cold wasn’t justified I well understood why clients wanted to cancel their shows. Most of the time they were telling me in advance and we cancelled without any problem. Some circumstances were more particular. Few clients had booked me and paid in advance (partially of fully) but I was booted off on site after lots of traveling because of not having received the experimental vaccine (not working) for “Covid”. Having borrowed for living in these hardcore times some were kind to the point of compensating me or not requiring me to pay back their deposit. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Some situations weren’t easy for my clients and myself. For this reason all deposit not paid back by myself or any compensation given to me will be “in bank” and could be used for any show in 2023.
- For those who had to cancel (with/without deposit) from 2020 to 2022 because of covid and hiring me in 2023: I’ll do more than the selected service.

A few people sent me “unfriendly” messages because I wasn’t sharing the same viewpoints as those shown by the mainstream media delivered as “THE science”. It didn’t affect me on the long run and I don’t blame anyone. I well understood what happened. My mom and one of my brother are at least triple vaxxed.?For my youngest brother and I a bullet in the head would be required for us to be injected! We ALWAYS loved each other despite the light touches of sarcasm that we could throw one another from time to time. ?So for those who banished or reviled me you can write me as if nothing happened. It will be EXACTLY as nothing happened.

Second Chance in Labrador City!
On September 2021 The?Town of Labrador City?hired me for 3?family shows (200 people each) for the New Year Event. My biggest and farest contract ever! Everything was all booked up and wrapped up. And…. Trudeau; New senseless rule:
- Must be vaxxed to take the plane!
I thought ?“I’ll take the risk and go with my car.”
NO!!!! The room in which the show would take place belongs to the City. Must be vaxxed to come in. If not they’ll take someone else! We cancelled. On January I asked the woman how her show went. They got no show as it was a lockdown!!!! (Today I’m able to laugh about this hysteria but I wasn’t laughing then!)
Time went by and on September 2022 I got an email from the Francophones of Newfoundland-and-Labrador asking for a quote for shows on December… BOOKED!!!
The adventure began on December 10. I had a Christmas party show in the morning for Zoum Zoum Party, 2 hours of Walk-Around Magic for the opening ot the Frameco Center in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce in the afternoon and I was coming back rush to take the plane at night in Quebec City.
My second flight arrived in Sept-Iles where I had to. I had reserved at the Hotel Le Voyageur of Québec thinking I reserved the Hotel Le Voyageur of Sept-?les (not the same company at all)! A guy in the plane who used my credit card to tale a beer made it go right so I could have a room there while none was available (magic)! Thanks to the Hotel in Quebec for cancelling my reservation while I was in the plane without any fee. We were 3 guys not knowing each other going to the same hotel. We split the taxi. The immigrant amongst us really appreciated my presence. He wasn’t speaking French and only little English. I worked it out for him to make sure the taxi would come back picking him up at 4:00 am for his next flight.
The first thing I do on site at 00:30 before to even go to my room is to astonish the employee with magic. Having a blast he convinced me to go perform for the Innu at the bar. I did and BOOM one of those were sharing a contact in Natashquan. It’s Marc-Antoine. The one who won the Gagnez Votre Achat contest on February 2018! He even hired me for a family party on last April! Wow what a small world (and I am tall)!
For the breakfast before my flight only one option: the “Chevaliers de Collomb”.
It was exactly as eating with my family. I was discussing with a lady and we were also sharing a contact: Steven Samson. He was the General Manager of Olivier Ford when his finalist Marc-Antoine (the one just above) won the Gagnez Votre Achat?contest! Steven also hired me for his staff party in 2017.
My schedule was tight since my last flight departing in the morning was supposed to arrive in Wabush at 14:04. My Walk-Around magic was to start at 15:00. Leaving for my flight dressed as Crepmaster with my magic stuff as my “carry on”. This way I could deliver on the spot if any issue with the luggage. Arriving way before to make sure I wondered why it was so long. The flight was delayed to 14:20!!!!!!!! Here is my face:
In addition to be delayed the flight took off even later! I told myself that I’ll be so intense on my arrival at the show that it will make up for my late flight!?
From my landing it’s a very kind 83 years old lady that was taking care of me (rides and visit of Fermont on the last day): Lise Boucher. The very first time I talked to her I felt we were close to each other. It was a very peculiar phenomenon. Two-way conversation joking without any filter whatsoever. It really got my attention. Once my luggage arrived we went to the first show right away. Lots of people waited for me. Right after removing my coat and boots I tackled people with my Walk-Around Magic. A big crowd gathered around me and I was performing effects after effects. I wasn’t really walking around during my “Walk-Around” magic. I performed more than expected and people even stayed late to see more! Target attained! ?
Then I went to eat Dinner with Lise (very kind being). Here is a picture of her and I (not on that night).
From “It’s a Small World” to Real Magic!
Earlier in the Bulletin I mentioned small coincidences showing that we living in a small world. But the next one belongs to REAL MAGIC. On the first night I was eating with Lise at Pizza Delight and we were chatting about all kinds of things. Still intrigued by this deep feeling of proximity I asked here where she’s from. B-O-O-M!! She comes from Proulx and Berri (streets) in Pont-Viau (Laval City)! Exactly 2 corners away from where I spent the most of my life but 60 years before! Back in her days many streets weren’t existing. They were farms!!! Crazy hey? I go to perform shows in Labrador (Newfoundland) and I eat with a lady that was living right where I spent most of my life 60 years away. Many other coincidences occurred between us (almost scary) during my stay. It was magical!
Shows in Labrador City
My first night was so much on the fly that no picture/video were taken. My focus was solely on getting so excited that they felt great to have waited my late arrival. It was a total success. ?
The following day I had 2 shows at l’école l’Envol (French School in Labrador City). The first one was for the 10 older students from 5th to 10th grade. It’s my favorite one since my sharp tongue and a quick wit. I never deal with teenagers (kids neither) as if they were “babies”. I arrived at the school early (easy without depending on a plane) and the teacher was surprised to see me in advance! I go to the gymnasium and set-up my show.
All set and waiting for the older ones. The benches are ready in front. They arrive and one of them is already having a blast seeing me. It’s Etienne (he’s in my contacts on my cell phone). He saw me the night before and became a big fan! He was selling me to the other ones and they became interested but the 2 older ones on my right had no expectancy whatsoever. All the way through everyone was having a blast (even the teacher) but the 2 girls on my right were still very skeptical. They were discussing together “knowing my tricks”. It’s totally cool with me; my favorite ones (more challenging). I do something impressing and ask “Do you know why we don’t understand how it’s possible?” I was expecting an answer from our 2 “know-bests”. Etienne replies loud and clear: “Because he’s a good magician!” BOOM!!!!! Etienne became a mentalist. He could predict my words! It made the show even more entertaining. At the end the 8 teenagers seemed to have been fully entertained but less for the 2 others. I’m used to it. Myself as a teen I acted like I knew it all when a magician was impressing. Man, cool with me.?J

During the show I give them all a business card so they can see my videos online. At the end one of the older ones brought me a boat she made with my destroyed card.
I told her that it was awesome what she did could do with my destroyed card and that I wasn’t myself able to do that. (Always with this deep feeling of joy inside when someone destroys your cards to make boats with them! LOL LOL LOL) ?
Then it was lunch time. Everyone was running around playing in the gymnasium and I was protecting my stuff against potential attacks between both shows. And… the 2 older girls (Know-Bests) came to me and asked “Can you do another trick?” … CREPMASTER WINS – FLAWLESS VICTORY (It’s something said in a video game when you win FLAWLESSLY!)

After resisting the attacks from the kids running all over the place during lunch time (it’s a good thing that they are more alive than us) it was showtime to the 26 younger ones.

They are lots of other stories and successes during my trip there. It includes the clients and staff that I deeply entertained at the motel, in the restaurants and elsewhere. At the McDonald’s (yeah there is one over there) I met a trucker who went to the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa. I got hired twice by this movement. I skipped many other details as I’m not even sure that I’ll be read up to here. I stop right here and keep the other stories and details for the next Bulletin.
Love Letter!?
Exactly when I was about to send this Bulletin I realized that a very important point was missing! On August I went to perform for the Retirement Home Notre-Dame-de-Richelieu. It was for a show outside under a marquee I performed connecting with my public as usual. Everything was fine. They were happy and their technician left their review on Google. I followed-up a few times to make sure everything was great and tried to get a review on TheBash and pictures of the show. Not getting any reply back I dropped it. On the end of November I got a letter (a physical one). I thought it was a cheque but it was way better than that!
It basically says that my presence and the show were the best activity and the most loved by their seniors. There was even a USB Flash drive in the envelope with tons of pictures of the show. Many of them are already on the album. I was having a blast!! It’s the first time that I’m sent a thanking letter with a USB Flash drive full of pictures.

I always love getting replies/questions/comments regarding my posts. Even if it’s just a simple ok. I really appreciate when one writes me and I always reply to everything (email, text messages, calls, socials, etc.)
