Novelty: Crepmaster’s bot!
On May 2018 I got interested in Messenger automation. I gradually went up to 250 subscribers so far. I went through many tests and pilots and the possibilities are endless! My bot is far from the typical automatic answer: "Thanks for your message. We’ll answer shortly." It’s insane! My "Crepmaster bot" gets to know even more my contacts through time. He’s sometimes sending messages to only certain people relating to that precise message. Let’s say I go to Montreal to perform for a show. He’s sending a personalised message to those that he knows living in the Great Montreal to see if someone is available for a Reunion with me. It allows me to fill my schedule when leaving my town. He’s also great at finding other magicians and artists when needed by my clients and prospects. They are many more interactive stuff that my bot is doing. Especially when they are great news he’s spreading the word very fast. Way much easier to try it for yourself than to speak about it. Just click on this Messenger link to subscribe: https://m.me/crepmasterthemagician. You’ll then be invited to communicate with Crepmaster via Messenger. It’s a combination of myself and my bot. My bot is usually taking the ball at first but makes sure I’m seeing it to reply. If you’re logged in Messenger as speaking English but you just write “French” to him he’ll note that you can understand French after double checking with you. If you’re logged in Messenger as speaking French and you just write “anglais” to him he’ll proceed the same way.
At any time you want him to stop writing you (he doesn’t do it often), write “stop” and he’ll stop everything. If you want to restart just write “start” and he’ll put you back in. If you want to get the last sendings (one in French the other in English) write it up. I’ll get it sent to you. You’ll be able to experiment interaction with Crep’s bot.
Reunion (and meeting for the first time)
My Reunion project started on May 27, 2016 after having read a Grant Cardone’s book. I want to meet up with everyone I have known in the past (and even new people). It even includes past enemies from school! Each time I have a show in a city I try to get in touch with people I have known living there (or even total strangers) to schedule a lunch, dinner or coffee for a chat. It’s magical in itself. We realize that people are very kind and that the “people are evil” so pushed by the media is totally false. I got for the second month in a row the Gigmasters Top Booked Member – September 2018. But Gigmasters didn’t make an official post about it to give a chance to the other members to be exposed. Here is the confirmation directly from them: "You are the overall top booker in the month of September, however we have chosen another top booker in a separate category. I booked for more than 120 000$ of shows via Gigmasters.com alone! It’s not only for the last year but hey more than 100 000$ without TV is still insane!
All in "white magic" (magic for good). All my shows are fully declared taxes-wise! J I can be paid by check, cash, Interac transfer (internet) or in advance by credit card and I always charge taxes as at McDonald’s. It’s not a popular practice in the Quebec Province to say the truth. It’s considered “usual” for many not to pay taxes if it’s paid cash. I believe that one’s future will be better if things are done straight around him. Just hiring me will already influence your future for good. Try it you’ll see.
Online Detailed Services Available 24/7!
In 2018 a lot goes on in our life at the same time. Most are very busy. Prior to contact a business for information we often prefer to shop it online first. Not just for price but to see if the product will resolve what we want to accomplish, if we can afford it and if the price/value is worth checking. I searched on internet to see if we could see details and pricing about magic shows. Impossible to find anything (other than myself)!
When I started I was hanging out with other magicians. I realised that pricing was an EXTREMELY taboo subject. It’s a big mystery! When starting we ask other magicians how much they charge and no one wants to say it out loud. We hear generalities such as “Charge your worth” without further details. I started charging some amounts for different services. I got accused (bluntly or in more covered ways) by other magicians that I wasn’t charging enough. I was “downgrading the market price”! In my early years and in the business jungle I didn’t want to do that nor offend my colleagues. I raised my prices and kept booking sometimes. I was glad I was pleasing everyone (in my mind).
When someone calls me for information I’m in excellent communication and don’t hide anything. A prospect called me for a kid’s birthday. After giving her all the details she replied that I was EXTREMELY expensive. She paid for the “same service” (ok here, no one can deliver the same service as Crepmaster) “way less” giving me exact numbers. I was so GLAD to hear that (it sounded very weird for her). I was putting truth on a bunch of piled up lies in my mind! I asked her with whom it happened. BAMMMMM one of Crepmaster‘s accusers to be too cheap! The lady couldn’t understand why I was so happy to be rejected as “too expensive”. I was picking up my carpooling (Kangaride) in Trois-Rivieres at that exact moment. I was having a serious internal blast. Arriving home I contacted that magician right away. I told him that the game of telling me that I wasn’t charging enough was over. Everyone can charge whatever one wants period. I wasn’t upset at him. I was just becoming more aware of the game and more apt to take my own decisions without requesting the consent of the entire planet in fear of upsetting someone! 3 days later a similar story occurred with an accuser for my adult magic. I grew up. They helped me out with this little scam. I never lowered my prices since and I keep booking. My clients have a blast (they aren’t “just satisfied”). I discovered a lot more truth on that matter and I don’t play these little games anymore. I go on the field to perform for people and they have a blast. We are winning and happy on both sides.
As part of my Reunion project I meet other magicians from time to time. I make alliances with some and I’m helping others to clear up this taboo myth on pricing that all magicians talk about but that no one talks about!!! I tell my stories and give them the freedom to do whatever they want. It’s like a dove being released. It helps me out too to share with other magicians.

The Real Magic Behind Crepmaster
As explained in my Crepmaster’s News Bulletin #8 my wife and I got Pro Couple Photos. They are all online in an album. There is a game with those pictures open to all. Anyone can post a title for a photo as a comment under it. I pick the one or the ones that fits best for each and post it as the title. Here are the ones who got a title chosen so far: Johanne Hebert (many times), Anne Bistorin Delafraye, Lucie Dion, Erika Fleck, Rachel Daly, Sabrina Dion and André Gaboriault. I added pictures since that aren’t titled yet. You can propose one under each as a comment. I look for a French and an English title for each picture. Here is the LINK TO THE ALBUM.
I never thought I’d conclude my News Bulletin with such a title. My Voyeur definition used here is one I borrowed from a friend (Christian Laperrière).
Voyeur: “Someone looking, reading or studying what you post on social networks without liking, commenting, sharing or just telling you about it.”
FaceBook really wants me to pay a maximum amount of money in marketing with them. When I look at my Facebook stats it’s as if only a very few people were seeing my posts. FaceBook proposes to pay so my posts get seen. I’ll pay but it’s not in my first steps in my market domination plan. While seeing only a few likes/comments under my posts I assume that they were seen only by those. Often when speaking to people (close or far from me) they start telling me about my life and what’s going on in my career in details because they saw it in social networks! I then realize again that I’m more seen than I think. They are Voyeurs! It happens often. I’m selling courses on how to sell on the phone on week days (if no show). It’s called The Guaranteed Training Camp (“Camp d’Entra?nement Exceptionnel et Garanti” in French). An owner of a car Dealership answered: “Hey it’s Crepmaster! Well you’re very entertaining and fun. Keep going. Too bad you’re that far because we’d hire you for sure.” I had no clue he was following me on social networks! It’s better to have a “voyeur” than someone not knowing I exist. Maybe one doesn’t want to react to my posts to avoid being seen. I really appreciate though when someone takes the time to tell me by any means that my posts were seen. It helps me to adjust.
