The Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund’s Bank On National Account Standards Certification of the Sensible Spend Account shows that it meets over 25 features for safe and affordable consumer transaction accounts.
September 5, 2023 San Antonio, Texas – Today Credit Human announced that its Sensible Spend Account was officially certified by the national Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund (CFE Fund) as meeting the Bank On National Account Standards (2023 - 2024). ?The national safe account Standards, co-created by consumer advocates, leading national nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, and other financial institutions, designate both core and strongly recommended features that ensure low cost, high functionality and consumer safety.
The Sensible Spend Account features a low monthly fee that can be waived by setting up a $3 monthly auto-transfer to your savings, encouraging a savings habit that can build financial slack over time.? Other key features include no overdraft or nonsufficient fund fees, the ability to pay bills and make purchases just as you would with a traditional checking account, and peace of mind knowing your deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration.
