Credit Cards and Fancy Car's...??

Credit Cards and Fancy Car's...??

Hey,

Many people think it's normal to buy a fancy car that they can't afford, a big house with extra rooms they don't need, or a super expensive watch or handbag.

People buy all these material items on credit cards, which puts them in debt and causes a lot of stress.

Yet many people who spend a lot on material items would not invest even close to the same amount of money in their health, fitness, or self-care.

If you drink alcohol every weekend, go on a night out, get a takeaway afterwards, and take a taxi, you can easily spend €100-200 in one night.

That’s €400-800 per month and €4,800 to €9,600 per year.

I know this because I lived it in my twenties and have made significant changes now in how I live my life.

If you bought a brand new car and your monthly payments are €600, why not buy a slightly older car that's still good but has monthly payments of €300?

That's an extra €3,600 back in your pocket in one year.

Why not reduce your spending by even 50% on unnecessary material items and alcohol and reinvest in what is actually important: your health.

That way, you can still have lots of fun but also feel great too.

Investing in working with a therapist for your mental health, a personal trainer, a nutritionist, a physiotherapist, or going to regular saunas, cold dips, etc., is the best investment you could ever make.

You can’t bring a fancy car or handbag to the grave.

All the material items we own will be useless if we can't even enjoy them because our health is poor.

When you invest in your physical and mental health, you can massively improve your longevity and quality of life.

I'm seeing this now with clients and family members who are over 40.

The quality of life that people have when they have taken care of themselves through strength training, stretching, getting good sleep, and prioritising their fitness and self-care is vastly different from those who haven't.

The people who haven't taken care of themselves end up on lots of medication, in a poor state of mental health, unable to travel or go on holidays, and are in pain every day.

So my question for you is: What changes could you make with your spending to reinvest in your health, fitness, and self-care?

All the money I save now from not going on nights out or going to music festivals, I reinvest in learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, massage, sauna, learning Spanish, and going on holidays with my girlfriend.

Hope you have a great day,

Elan
