My name is Arwa Shurab. I am a proud Palestinian woman, a leadership coach, and a relentless advocate for women.

Growing up as a Palestinian, I’ve always carried the weight of my identity in a world that often misunderstands it. Every time I am asked, “Where are you from?” I pause—not because I don’t know my answer, but because I brace for the reaction. After I say, “I am Palestinian,” I instinctively check the person’s body language, anticipating the questions or judgments that often follow.

Living in a world layered with Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism is not easy. These layers are heavy, and they intersect with the challenges of being a woman. But through it all, I have chosen not only to survive but to thrive—to turn these challenges into motivation to strive for change and to inspire the next generation of women.

I started my leadership career with a Master of Arts Degree in Global Leadership. After several years in the job market, I realized my true calling was to help others be their best selves. So, I returned to school for a certification course to become a Life Coach and Master Certified Life Coach. Finally equipped with the skills I needed to make my mark in the professional lives of promising young leaders, I returned to the job market for a second time.

I believe in the power of storytelling. By sharing our stories, we claim our space, challenge misconceptions, and pave the way for others. That’s why I’m excited to launch IN HER VOICE, a platform where women in leadership can share their journeys, struggles, and victories. Together, we can build a world where women, regardless of their background, can see themselves reflected in positions of power and influence.

As I continue my journey, I want to be a role model for young women who are looking for strength and representation. We can navigate this layered world together—with courage, resilience,?and?hope.
