Hello, Creative Uprising Community!

As the sun sets on summer, we step into September with renewed energy, ready to embrace a new chapter of possibilities. ???? This Summer I took time out to reflect on my own creative journey and I want to share with you my thoughts on the profound interplay of faith and luck in our pursuit of artistic expression.

September marks a return to the rhythm of work, and I'm thrilled to dive back into my role as a guide for school leaders embarking on a new academic year in the UK. Having been a teacher for over a decade, and being a mother, I observe closely how September brings a freshness to the eyes of children who return to school and step into the unknown filled with both excitement and fear. Just as we gear up for growth and learning, our creative journeys also involve stepping into the unknown with faith and determination.

Change is in the air, and many of us are redefining our visions and core purposes. This shift resonates deeply with me as I engage in coaching work that focuses on discovery, transformation, and aligning actions with aspirations. Remember, the process of redefining is a journey that requires trust and courage. And it's never ending as I notice working with artists in their twenties as well as in their sixties! As we craft paths that stay true to our integrity and core purpose, we embark on a journey of authenticity. This resonates with my own experiences as a playwright and director, where faith in my creative process allowed me to transcend doubts and embrace the unknown. In my own journey, every creative act has been a spiritual encounter, an invitation to channel something transcendent. This faith has been my guiding light, allowing me to navigate the creative leap with purpose and intention. ?

Luck, much like faith, plays a role in creativity. Throughout my journey, I've recognized that luck can be both a guiding breeze and a gentle nudge. Embracing the unpredictability of luck and its dance with our intentions is part of the beautiful chaos of creation.

So, let's remember this as we embark on September. Just as faith shapes our choices and actions, luck adds an element of spontaneity to our journey. I invite you to join me in embracing the beautiful chaos that is creativity – a blend of intention, action, and the dance with luck. ????

As we walk together into this new month, let's renew our faith in our own luck. Let's celebrate the harmony of faith and luck in our creative lives, reminding ourselves that we have the power to transform challenges into opportunities and uncertainties into brilliance.
