Creativity and LLMs
I have been deeply involved in this subject (its my full time job to be "innovative") and the only tools we have to use is AI. I used to take sessions in creativity using Edward de Bono's toolkits. One of the tools which I found super useful was the "Six thinking hats".
The idea behind this is very simple. We are all conditioned to see the problem one way, based on our filter (prior knowledge). But, we are all capable of thinking from different view-points. This technique of 6 hats forces you (or a group) to think from different perspectives for a given problem.
Enter LLMs. You can construct prompts which can replace these 6 hats. For every idea you have, you can use it to give you constructive criticisms and then build on top of this. LLMs excel in this task because of their vast knowledge, but the trick is in the construction of these prompts.
