In the world of business and marketing, we often feel the need to be creative not just for the sake of it but to sell our ideas and make a profit. The usual thinking is that creativity is all about coming up with something unique, selling it, making money, and repeating the process.?

However, there's another side to creativity that goes beyond this commercial view.?

Instead of seeing creativity as a product, consider it as a form of communication.

So if you are struggling with bringing out your creativity, it’s not because you aren't a creative person. It might be because you struggle with communicating.?

Creativity is more than just a way to sell things; it's an active process of expressing intangible thoughts and ideas. Creativity is an act.?

Whether it's expressed through art like drawing a diagram, making music, writing, or creating the perfect PowerPoint, creativity acts as the bridge between our imaginative thoughts and the outside world.?

Understanding creativity as a form of communication has a broader impact encourages businesses and individuals to see creativity not just as a tool for making sales but as a way to connect with people on a deeper level by bringing to life what it is they are trying to express.

It creates a mode and a channel to communicate our inner world, to the outside world. And that’s where the big bucks are.?

So stop trying to find the next hack to unlock creativity and learn to communicate better. Learn how to listen to your own intuition, to listen to other people's ideas. Learn to observe a tree or a bird floating in the air. Notice the person at the coffee shop. Notice and observe the essence life exudes all around us, and FEEL it.?

Effective communication is about listening, observing and expressing. We receive information and we interpret it. THAT is creativity.?

So, the next time you feel in a creative rut, take a pause. And observe your life. Listen. Feel.?
