Creativity Closes Deals (Here’s How)

Creativity Closes Deals (Here’s How)

Everyone is busy.

Studies show that the average person receives over 175 emails per day.

And that doesn’t include text messages, calls, or social messages.

What does this mean if you are trying to sell?

  • Missed meetings
  • Delayed email responses
  • Ignored calls

The key to success, then, is not to give up.

But here’s the problem with that statement.

Many sales professionals might take this advice as sacrosanct.

So they make more calls to their prospects.

They send more emails to their prospect.

They schedule 62 reminders before a prospect meeting.

Although this shows tenacity, it can also be annoying.

And I don’t know any prospects that want to buy from someone who is annoying.

Here is what you can do instead.

Get creative!

Reach out using other formats – like video, direct mail, and audio messages.

Change up your messaging – share information, ask for a meeting, or make an introduction.

Vary your outreach timing – wait a week to follow up, not two days.

Creativity is the tool that every salesperson needs.

Not just needs – but needs to use.

It’s what will differentiate you from your competition.

And that’s what you need to connect with busy, distracted prospects.

Best,

Shawn
