THE CREATIVE UNCONSCIOUS

The creative unconscious is the union between your creative thinking-mind and the creative unconscious-mind. It is the source from which artists gain their inspiration, athletes exhibit superpowers, and writers create content that seems to come from a faraway land. How does this happen, and why are some people able to tap into their creative unconscious and others are not? The answer lies within you. It is all about developing a prosperous working relationship between your thinking mind and your intuitive mind, with the understanding that it will not come to fruition until you make the unconscious conscious.?

One way to begin to embrace the creative unconscious is to pay attention to your dream-state thoughts. These are the thoughts that awaken you abruptly in the middle of the night with an idea or brainstorm. Honor these moments when they happen, and they will occur more frequently.?

If your creative unconscious is working with you, here’s what you can expect. You may be inspired, or be overtaken with energy to solve a problem, or create?something new which originates from deep inside of you. You may also notice moments of inspiration when you least expect it, even while awake. It may materialize while you’re taking a shower, listening to music, or exercising. Keep a pad of paper and pen handy, or record your thoughts as they happen into the notes app on your smartphone. Regardless, preserve the message being sent through you as your creative unconscious attempts to work with you.?

Your creative unconscious only wants the best for you! It’s been waiting patiently for you to welcome and receive it. Treat your creative unconscious as you would a special guest staying for an extended visit in your home, as that’s exactly what’s taking place. Your special guest holds endless gifts for you. Accept them with grace and gratitude as they are delivered one by one. Your creative unconscious will provide you with infinite ideas, viewpoints, references, imagination, and pure genius to cope with any obstacle, puzzle or process required to fulfill your goal.

YOUR CREATIVE UNCONSCIOUS IN?ACTION

Give yourself access to your creative conscious and life will no longer be dull. Your life will suddenly?turn into constant adventure, full of endless possibilities. You will quickly realize that you have access to boundless resources beyond your wildest imagination. Boredom will become a word of the past. Your energy will rise, as will your enthusiasm.

Do you want to be able to tap into your creative unconscious? Don’t command it. Show it respect and that you are open to its wisdom. Build a level of trust that you will not ignore its signs. Give it the nod that you’re on-board and that you’re ready to accept it without prejudice. Your intention will be received just as soon as you believe.?

"The creative unconscious is the union between your creative thinking-mind and the creative unconscious-mind.”

So rightly described. It resonates. When we are close to our true self and listen to our subconscious we are happy and in a most creative mode.

“Treat your creative unconscious as you would a special guest staying for an extended visit in your home, as that’s exactly what’s taking place.” I love this bit of wisdom! When I created my pilates business (Conscious Body Pilates), the inspiration came to me at a silent meditation retreat and during a walk. I was in a receptive state and welcomed the inspiration. Never thought of it as welcoming a guest before. Brilliant!
