He currently works as a branding photographer, he’s a co-founder of his own businesses, an occasional background artist in film, HETV and TVC productions and film and television teacher at the Pauline Quirke Academy. “Just listen to your heart, your body and really do what you want to do. With that just work towards your goals and experiment. You might slightly change that or the direction but that doesn't mean that you're losing anything.”

Starting with a little Italian lesson. Do you know how to say tomato? It's "Pomodoro" indeed! And that's also today's "productivity hack". The Pomodoro Technique is a time management technique that breaks down work into intervals, typically 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. The technique was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s and named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer he used to time his work intervals.
It can be used to improve focus, productivity and reduce procrastination. The technique works by forcing you to work in short, focused bursts. This is because our brains are not designed to concentrate for long periods of time. If you try to focus for too long, you will start to get distracted and lose focus. By breaking down your work into shorter intervals, you can stay on task and avoid distractions.
How to use it?
When studying for an exam, break it down into 25-mins chunks (handy timer here). During each, you focus on a specific subject. Then take a 5-mins break and clear your head. The same when writing a paper, working on a creative project and so on. So try this technique with your next work to improve your focus and productivity. And if it doesn't work, at least you learned a bit of Italian! ??
