Full cost: $750

MANA will begin the project upon receiving the down payment of $375. After the approval of the final galley and receiving the final payment, the author will receive the e-file (e-book). The author can choose to keep the file or allow MANA to keep the file and post it on its site for sale. And if you want MANA to print the book, then it can. Then, the author will receive 70% of all sales garnered through the MANA website—e-file or printed.

Instead of the author paying for printing with no guarantee of sales, s/he will see how well his e-file sells. If it sells quite well, the author can take the file and submit it to any printer of choice. The author controls the printing costs.

There is much joy and satisfaction I feel when I help an author get his/her manuscript to book status. That manuscript is the writer's literary baby. That manuscript also becomes my child. I nurture the writer in his/her effort to develop his/her child.

Yes, it is intense work. There is a need for editing (dressing the child), helping the child grow and mature (from the first chapter to the last), and the patient guidance of the writer in his/her effort to change the wording in a way that is impactful and clear to those who read the work's developed text.

When the work is complete, I experience the writer's joy when s/he receives his/her first copy. The expression of appreciation is something that I cherish and means more than any dime received.
