Creative Design Lead, Dublin

We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Lead to join an expanding Consultancy based in Dublin and oversee all the Creative Design within the team as well as working hands on and leading projects.

We are looking for a passionate 'Creative Ninja' who can lead a team, Design by example all Ui Design, Art Direction, Brand Design and Mentor the UI Team to craft and produce beautiful, usable and effective digital experiences for a range of projects across both web, mobile and digital channels.

The ideal candidate will deeply understand their clients' brand expectations and will champion and advocate creative articulation across a range of digital channels, working closely with the team to ensure all projects are delivered on time to a high exemplary standard of work.

Responsibilities:

·      To lead all the UI, Graphic, Motion and Brand Design within the team

·      Have a solid understanding of all the creative briefs in production and add value, give feedback and present any creative work done within the team

·      To understand the skills of each of your team members and guide and advise on the most suitable resources to achieve the clients’ goals

·      To build solid relationships with your creative team and any others within the company

·      To grow and build relationships with the clients and their know their requirements 

·      To understand each client's brand and to collaborate, inspire, challenge, lead, mentor and advise your UI team to ensure the efficiency and delivery of all creative projects

·      To be a fierce advocate for the products and brands and vision for your clients

·      Solve problems for all projects, products and for team members

·      Have full responsibility for your team 

·      To provide feedback to the team and review their performance of projects

·      To work closely with C Suite for advice and guidance for any issues and also to present review and demo any work projects

·      To oversee and present any training and development requirements

Qualifications/ Skills / Experience:

·      Design related degree or equivalent experience

·      5+ Years UI / Creative Design expertise

·      Proven Leadership skills both leading projects and a team of creatives

·      Client facing experience and ability to gain knowledge of their brands inside out

·      Working closely with management or c suite

·      Always staying up to date with design trends, technology, software and industry best practice 

·      Innovative and Passionate about Design 

·      Strong communication and collaboration skills

·      Able to present to clients and C Suite

·      Leadership’s skills that get the best out of your team 

·      Strong ability to lead by example

·      Consultancy or Client-side expertise 

·      Ability to work on a variety of projects and brands 

·      A strong UI Design portfolio showcasing your full design process
