Exciting News!
Hey there,
In today's fast-paced world, taking a break often feels counterproductive. Right?
But what if stepping back could lead to greater creativity, innovation, and productivity?
Enter the concept of the "creative cocoon."
Just as a butterfly undergoes a metamorphosis, creative individuals need time for reflection and transformation.
Okay, enough of a preamble, let me get to the heart of the matter.
I have some exciting news to share with you!
Are you sitting down? Good.
I wanted to let you know that you won't hear from me for a while.
Let's say about eight weeks.
No need to panic.
I’m not going away for good.
You can’t get rid of me that easily.??
Where Am I Going?
We often see the finished product and forget the effort it took to get there.
Creating something impactful and valuable requires time, focus, and a willingness to step back and reevaluate.
Have you ever tried to complete a difficult puzzle or an intricate Lego set?
Exactly!
The pieces don’t magically come together by themselves, do they? ?
No, you must take time to organize all the pieces and methodically put them together in the proper sequence.
This is precisely what a creative cocoon allows you to do.
The idea of a creative cocoon is not about retreating; it's about incubating ideas, gaining new insights, and methodically putting the pieces together.
That is where I’m headed now, into my creative cocoon.
I’m reflecting, researching, and evaluating how I can best serve you and others.
I need some heads-down quiet time to unlock all that resides in my head and transform it into something tangible and valuable for you.
I aim to emerge better than ever and ready to serve those who can most benefit from what I can give.
What Does This Mean for You?

All of this is by design.
They say that Rome wasn't built in a day.
Creating and designing take time and focus.
Envision me in my laboratory like a mad scientist imagining and inventing.
Conjure up images of great inventors and visionary minds…
Steve Jobs was known for his retreats to Zen monasteries, where he would spend time meditating and reflecting.
These breaks allowed him to gain clarity and return with groundbreaking ideas.
Albert Einstein often spoke about the importance of solitude in his creative process.
His time spent in deep thought and reflection led to some of the most revolutionary theories in physics.
Okay, don’t get your expectations out of whack…
I’m certainly no Steve Jobs or Einstein.
However, what I create will be just as beneficial to you as you continue to step into the role as the leader of your life.
In the Meantime
While you wait with bated breath for my return, I challenge you to do some reflection of your own.
Take an honest look at where you are in your life right now.
Ask yourself the following questions:
Final Thoughts
I have to admit, it will be strange to be away from you for a bit.
However, I'm so excited to imagine, invent, develop, and build.
I'm even more excited to share it all with you when I break out of my cocoon.
My target date for re-engaging is August 19th.
Be back soon!
