Creating Your Vision Board

The beginning of a new year brings its share of excitement and new hope. We feel a renewed sense of energy and motivation to work towards achieving our goals and dreams. With this thought, we make new year resolutions. However, a study points out that by the second week of January, more than 35% of the resolutions are broken and over 80% resolutions made do not last beyond the first month of the year.

Let's Change the Game -

We are not able to stick to our resolutions because we try to achieve them in the same way each time. Let's do it differently this year. Let's use a proven way to ensure that we achieve all our goals and dreams for the year. It's time to create your vision board.

Vision Board is the best way to manifest and keep yourself motivated to achieve all your goals and fulfill your resolutions for the year. I use vision board regularly and the header image of this article is a snapshot of part of my vision board for 2023.

Why create a Vision Board -

Muhammad Ali, world famous boxer, in his book had shared the quote 'if my mind can conceive it and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it'. Using the vision board is that journey from conceiving it to believing it that; it is possible.

In fact, all of those who grew up in the pre-digital age were creating vision boards during their school or college days (or maybe even after that). Remember putting up posters and paper cuttings of celebrities or your role models on the walls of the room, inside the cupboard or behind the room door?

We covered our surroundings with things that we admired or liked. Many would put up the images of people they idolised and wanted to emulate them. I know quite a few people who followed in the footsteps of their idols and are now extremely successful in their chosen field. Vision Board is nothing but a refined version of what the kids from pre-digital age did.

When you begin creating your vision board, it becomes a helpful tool that can help you get clear on what goals you want to achieve in your life, keeps reminding you and encouraging you to achieve all that you have envisioned.
