Creating your internal mobility career plan
Many people are happy with their organizations, but they are not happy with their roles and responsibilities or growth plans and keep thinking about internal moves as they believe that other roles are having better privileges or more growth opportunities. If you are one of those then I recommend you to strongly resist that temptation and no going any further without defining exactly what you want from internal mobility and look carefully at:
What is your motivation for considering career move?
What is your ultimate goal?
What is your desired timeline?
Once you have clear answers to these questions then you can decide if you really want an internal move, and which function you want to occupy in future.
Stephen Covey in book '' the seven habits of highly effective people inspired me when he said: Begin with the end in mind.
I advise you to read that book.
