"You need to be on LinkedIn."
"You need to create long form videos."
"You need to <fill in the blank>
Here's the thing: you NEED to do what's best for YOU and your business.
Having your business goals in place and knowing who you ideal customers are, will help you determine where you "need" to be and what type of content you should be creating.
When someone says "you shouldn't do" or "don't" or "you need to" I automatically say to myself "but you don't know what my goals are, who I serve or how I best connect with people."
So when I hear someone say what I should or shouldn't do, it's an opportunity to learn, digest and consider the information. Doing or not doing what people say on social media is a quick spiral to chaos.
Know who you want t o learn from and how the value they deliver helps you and your business.
Everything else is just noise.
If you *want* to get started with video, learn how video helps your content reach new heights and it aligns with achieving your revenue goals, this 5-Day Challenge might be exactly what you *need* right now.
Will I see you there?

3 年Well said, Vicki. It is a pet hate of mine when I see generalised comments like “you should do this, you shouldn't do that “ Many times behind most of these comments sits an agenda. By a strange coincidence, the author just happens to provide the service that they are suggesting is the only solution. The fact is there are no one size fits all solutions.
