Creating a truly people-focused culture at To-Increase!

“How likely are you to recommend To-Increase to your friends, family, and colleagues?”

Well, we often ask this question to our employees, and it’s heartening to see a positive response from them, as reflected by our constantly rising Employees Net Promoter Score (eNPS). Such feedback holds immense value as we continue to build our “people-focused” culture foundation with utmost care.

At To-Increase , our mission is to solve complex matters for our clients through customer-centric, deep domain knowledge, and easy-to-implement and use solutions. Our people are critical to helping us achieve this mission, and we want to provide them with the right platform and tools to excel and find fulfillment in work.

A year ago, we were part of a publicly traded organization. We felt that the true potential of To-Increase and our people could only be unleashed outside that arrangement. Early this year, we carved out To-Increase and entered a partnership with Gilde Buy Out Partners. In Gilde , we found the sponsor who believed in our strategy, culture, purpose, and people’s potential. Together with them, we are working towards making the right investments in our organization and people to grow and continue our success.?

Empowering and Transparent Culture

An empowering and open culture based on trust, respect, empathy, and purpose is what we strive to create at To-Increase. And our monthly Town Hall meetings are testimony to that. At these meetings, everyone is welcome to pose questions (openly or anonymously) to the leadership. These questions are essential to get everyone on the same page, identify our areas of improvement, and understand our people’s views.

Every month, we also open the “Pulse Survey” to our people. The main objective of this survey is to provide constructive feedback about the organization: what they appreciate the most and how we can be even better. From these surveys, we understand that transparency, honesty, and a flat organizational structure where anyone, irrespective of titles and positions, can come forward with innovative ideas to drive change ― are some of the things that our people value the most at To-Increase.

Putting People First

We believe that happy people in the organization are deeply engaged, and a deeply engaged team leads to deeply engaged customers. Our formula is simple: Happy People = Happy Customers = To-Increase Success. Now, how do we ensure our people are happy and engaged at work? There are three basic things that people generally seek to achieve happiness at work ― Purpose, Self-direction, and Mastery. Let’s look at what these mean for our people and how we help them achieve that level of satisfaction.

·???????Purpose: Understanding how we fit into the bigger picture makes our jobs more meaningful and provides a sense of fulfillment. At To-Increase, we encourage our people to develop and embrace the sense of purpose by creating opportunities to learn, grow, be deeply involved, and make a difference.

·???????Self-direction: Self-direction is the independence to make our own decisions. We encourage our people to do what brings them the most energy, even if it is not part of their role. Roles and responsibilities get shuffled to allow for strength building.?We are investing in our leadership so that they can guide and coach our teams to be more self-directed, bold, and independent, which helps build the spirit of daring and confidence to think outside the box.

·???????Mastery: Mastery can be achieved by honing skills and constantly upskilling oneself. We plan to invest more in training and continuous learning and improvement.?One way our teams learn is through our “TI2TI” program (To-Increase to To-Increase), where our people share knowledge, expertise, and skills internally, not just within their team but with other teams as well. In addition to that, our quarterly Innovation Week provides another great learning opportunity, where our R&D teams focus on innovation, exploring new ideas, learning, and creating new products.

Well-being and Inclusion

For To-Increase, the well-being of our people is of utmost priority. We have adopted several approaches to enable our employees to feel secure, inclusive, and comfortable at work.

1.???Hybrid work-from-anywhere model

The pandemic has majorly turned the focus on remote working. At To-Increase, we have been able to keep our operations running with remote teams. However, we also understand that even though remote working is welcomed by many, it may not suit everyone. Keeping that in mind, To-Increase offers a hybrid work-from-anywhere model, where employees get to choose where they prefer to work.

Along with our hybrid working model, we also ensure that we have the digital tools and techniques that will drive cooperation, engagement, and productivity. With offices in Europe, North America, and Asia, and our clients across the globe, we assure our teams have the right equipment and technology to enable strong collaboration with colleagues, partners, and customers.

We see everybody in our organization as equal, irrespective of geographies, countries, teams, gender, or race. We don’t see barriers, just one big team trying to achieve our vision. Trust plays a vital role in fostering this one way of working, where each of us works towards one common goal and as one big team. Creating a culture of inclusion where everyone feels a sense of belonging is critical for effective collaboration. To achieve one way of working, we are also optimizing processes and tooling within our teams.
