Creating a sustainable and multifunctional office space

Creating a sustainable and multifunctional office space

Studio Llots stands for bringing together people of different backgrounds and job experiences to collaborate on diverse projects. Therefore it’s rooted in our mindest to welcome a lot of different opinions and points of view. One thing, though, we can’t get our heads around. Whenever people speak or write about the trend of sustainability, we feel the urge to express that we do not agree.

In our sense, sustainability is not just a trend but an attitude. Of course, there are different layers to the living approach that is sustainability, but determining whether you try to live that way or not should not be based on a trend but your feelings for the necessity of a change in human behavior. That is the change we need towards a better future. An attitude is an opinion about what is right in the long run, while a trend is something temporary. Sustainability is about saving the environment for our children. We believe in the change of industry and markets resulting in cooperation between young and old, rich and poor, experienced, and inexperienced. To inspire each other and profit from our inspiration are the cornerstones to a ?new“ world.

Sustainability in the Studio Llots showroom

Throughout my previous articles, Studio Llots appreciates working with like-minded people and institutions, especially when it comes to sustainable approaches. Our representations +Halle, Randers+Radius, and Wilde+Spieth have all implemented renewable materials into their product range and the usage of recycled goods. Together we keep searching for new ways to communicate the necessity of up- and recycling. The Randers+Radius Orgatec booth 2018 is a perfect example of that.

Of course, furniture from all three designers will be represented in our new showroom, adding to the sustainable nature we want to give to it. The new office spaces are meant not just for us but also for our partners and collaborators to showcase their product range or be present and work. The multi-usability of rooms is another sustainable concept that we want to live and communicate through our own space. In our field of work, we can implement sustainable concepts into human habitats, enabling people to experience the outcome of the attitude. And who would we be if we would not start with our own office spaces?

Love it!! ???????????? well done! :)
