Creating the Retail Revolution – My Reynolds Experience at NADA 2023

My journey to NADA 2023 didn’t get off to the best start. When I awoke on the Wednesday before the show I was greeted by snow on the ground in Dayton. I’m no snowbird, but I took that as a sign it was time to get out of town and fly south.

Arriving in Dallas and admiring what we were able to put together for everyone in attendance, I couldn't help but be excited for our great industry. And dealers were excited too. Dealer count was up from 2022 and attendees wanted to talk about where automotive retail is going. The positive mood from the dealer body was encouraging, especially as we all continue to navigate rapid change together.

Whether I was sitting in industry meetings or talking with dealers, it was clear there is a need within the automotive ecosystem for a more seamless workflow. From consumers to dealers to OEMs, everyone agrees the process of gathering information and transacting business needs to be more efficient and consumer-friendly. And no matter where the process starts?– online or in store?– dealers need, and consumers want, a way to retail anywhere.

Showing dealers and OEMs the Reynolds Retail Management System was a highlight for me. I walked away after some of the interactions in the booth saying, "Wow. They loved what they saw." We have the technology to make retailing anywhere a reality. A reality that improves workflows, efficiency, and the customer experience.

In the Reynolds booth, we also celebrated the debut of our new logo. It seemed to be universally loved. In fact, a few people had to be reminded of what the old logo even looked like. At the same time, we launched a new version of our company website. On the homepage,the message splashed across the top couldn't be more clear: “Creating the Retail Revolution.” With the help of our dealer partners, we’re ready to write the next chapter in retail automotive. Bring on NADA 2024!
