Creating Quotes using the Sugar Mobile App

Here it is as promised, a quick overview of how you can create Quotes using the Mobile app for SugarCRM (one of my personal favourites).

I often have customers ask me how they can create “quotes on-the-go”, especially customers who have a straight-forward quoting process.

For example, consider a customer that retails stationery/office supplies. Wouldn’t it be great if they can put the quote together in front of the customer -1000 Ballpoint Pens, 500 A4 Binders, 40 Calculators - it’s quick and easy to do this with Sugar Mobile.

That’s just one example; there’s lots of use cases for using this. As soon as it’s created on Mobile, it’s in Sugar for everyone to see. More importantly, it’ll be included in any workflows you’ve got set up.

You might have a workflow that automatically creates a call for the sales rep to follow up the quote five days later - if it’s not marked as Closed of course (wouldn’t want to be chasing a quote where there’s a decision already been made!).
