Its key findings include: output and orders picking up strongly suggesting a stronger outlook ahead; exports lead domestic orders; recruitment forecast to jump as demand increases and manufacturing forecast to outpace the economy overall in 2024. Babcock - Aviation Sector and Air Space Institute have collaborated on a commitment to skills and recruitment in the industry. Chloe Barker of Babcock’s UK aviation business, said: “Our partnership with the ASI will enable us to create a path for students to explore a practical, hands-on career in aviation while continuing their education and building on an exciting career path.” ????

And I’m sure we all have noticed by now, plastic bottles with the cap attached. The move to attach caps on plastic bottles is for recycling purposes and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has completed this move across its GB portfolio to ensure consumers have more opportunities to re-use or recycle packaging. Stephen Moorhouse , Vice President and General Manager at CCEP GB, said: “It’s initiatives like these that play a big part in our commitment towards achieving a world without waste." ??

CCEP completes conversion to bottles with attached caps

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB has completed the roll out of its attached cap plastic bottles with production now underway at its manufacturing site in Morpeth, Northumberland, making it the final site to make the switch.

The innovation lies in the ring around the neck of the bottle, where a tether has been added to keep the cap firmly on the bottle so that it’s easier to collect and recycle them together.
