Creating a Positive Future
Unlike the image shown above, I firmly believe our future is not going to be a dystopian disaster. By offering a realistic and comprehensive vision we have the chance to turn this ship around and create an increasingly positive future.
I moved to Costa Rica almost 18 months ago to consult on a visionary 100-acre ecovillage called Shift Esperanza. I was excited to use my skills to support the growth of a diverse group of singles, couples, and families who were looking for a cooperative living situation that offered a more sustainable and healthy way to live.
As it turned out the process of development in Costa Rica is very slow and the first homes have yet to be started. If you are interested on learning more please check out their website.
At the same time, I have been busy writing two positive future (Protopian) book series, From Here to There and Silo 42.
The From Here to Their series has two books Catapult (a mystery) and Descent (a thriller), and vividly shows how a positive future society can be formed using existing technologies.

The Silo 42 series is based on the wildly popular series now on Apple TV. In my fan fiction version, I use my experience with sustainable technologies to craft a sustainable world within this dystopian future. The first book Deception takes the reader on a non-stop thriller to help stop the death and destruction of a silo filled with 10,000 souls. Book two in the series entitled s details how the last wish of a dying leader forces difficult decision that could spell disaster.
I have found that most people when presented with an entertaining and inspiring vision for the future can be motivated to begin their personal journey towards a positive way of living.
Stray positive and know that things will improve when we work together to offer positive and realistic solutions to our most pressing current challenge.
Be well,
