What is a SMART Hospital? One would think it would be a hospital with a lot very very smart people. Yes, that would be true, but what I am talking about is how technology can help clinicians and doctors to improve patient response times, create a more proactive versus reactive response if the patient is in distress and create a better patient experience with their care team.
I recently posted a powerful video on my LI page: https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7034634663281258496/ about what we (Vision Technologies) are doing with one of our technology partners (Axis Communications) to help with better monitoring of patients with a camera solution that can give clear and real time data to their care provider, especially if they may be in distress. With hospitals getting larger and the distance from the patient room to the nurses station can be quite a walk. Care providers are relying more and more on technology to help them be more proactive versus reactive to their patients.
Now hospitals can view the physiological movements of the patient and can respond in real time if the patient is having a seizure or are in some other type of distress. Think of this as an extra layer of support for your care team on the floor.
Here are some case studies or other Hospitals where are helping them to create these SMART environments (https://www.visiontechnologies.com/industries/healthcare)

Let me know if this type of technology would help your care team at your hospital or clinic. We are happy to have a chat and see how we can help
