Creating marketing personas with ChatGPT

Creating marketing personas with ChatGPT

I am constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to do my job better and faster. So, I've been messing around with #ChatGPT and #marketing tasks.

So far, I've figured out how to use it to make a marketing strategy, sales copy and personas. In the past, creating #personas was a time-consuming process that involved extensive research and a lot of trial and error. I would spend hours pouring over customer data, trying to identify common characteristics and pain points. But that part is automated now.

With Chat GPT, all I have to do is input some basic demographic information and other key details and the model generates a fairly-formed persona. I then can prompt the #LLM to give me more information about certain characteristics to further expand on any critical areas that I think it missed (based on my own experience as a marketer).

Not only does this save me a ton of time, but it also allows me to create more nuanced and targeted personas that really capture the essence of my client's audience. Whether I'm crafting content for a B2B tech startup or a lifestyle brand aimed at millennials, Chat GPT helps me get into the minds of my client's customers and understand what motivates them.

Of course, some people may be sceptical about using an AI model for such an important task. But as someone who has worked with Chat GPT for months now, I can attest to its accuracy and usefulness. The model is constantly learning and improving, which means that the personas it generates are reflective of the latest trends and insights. And, since you're not publishing this stuff in a 谷歌 environment, it's not going to be subject to any #SEO kickback.

You can see the example data I fed it here:

Audience Questionnaire

And the output it created here (which I put into a nice, branded template):

Persona Template

If you need to do a lot of this or want to create an environment where your own business persona lives that you can interrogate, let me help - I'll show you how to write prompts that will do what you want them to do.

(PS - I wrote this post in Chat GPT too because I'm under some MAD deadlines today... forgive me SEO gods.)
