Creating magical moments
One of the things I've learned from years of being a Disney passholder is that a "magical moment" can turn every bad day into a fun, unforgettable experience. It makes you so happy and special that you believe real magic just happened.
The culture in the whole Walt Disney World is so strong and unique that makes you want to be a part of it, even if it's not there. I think magic is contageous somehow. And trying to apply it on your everyday life is the absolute goal. And let me tell you: you can do it.
You can do the same as Disney's cast members when you understand what a "magical moment" is. It's not about the money or the stuff you can give for free to your customers/clients or friends. It's about seeing an opportunity to make someone happy and taking it. And it can be done by many ways, like giving a compliment, telling a nice story, or even helping them to see what they're looking for from a different perspective. It hard to explain because it doesn't come on a guide, and you cannot find tutorials on the internet. Magical moments come from the heart, they're all feelings and intuition, and you simply have to jump for it in the right moment and make all the difference in the world for someone.
Pay attention to the details, talk to your customers, get to know them, know their stories and their purposes. Believe me, you'll know what to do. And the best part is: you don't have to do it only in the work environment, because creating magic is incredibly fun.
