By 2050 Africa will account for the highest population growth in the world at 1.3 billion.
This increase in population will demand a strong investment in skills development, education and job creation in order to meet the current and future employment needs .
- Can innovation and technology be an acceleration tool?
- Which economic approach will work best?
- What role can we as young Africans play in creating the Africa we want?
In celebration of Africa Day with A Better Africa With Tech I am going to engage in a conversation with founders and thought leaders currently contributing to the discussion of creating an Africa that will harness the power and potential of it's young people.
Our speakers :
James Shikwati a Kenyan libertarian economist and Director of the Inter Region Economic Network, which promotes freedom of trade as the driving solution to poverty in Africa.
Dr. J?rg Kleis Co-Founder of AfricaWorks and also in charge of Clients & Partnerships.
Wadzanai Mosti Founder of The African Democracy Experiment (ADEX), a platform that promotes innovative, continental approaches to addressing Africa's democratization and governance questions.
Join in the conversation and let's move Africa forward. Share your thoughts and ideas in the comments if you can't make it and we will share with the audience.
