Creating with Intentions
Today was one of those days where sometimes you just feel like you are in a groove. Everything that you are doing seems to hit the mark. This isn't easy, to have created on such a great level today. It was a culmination of lots of things that have happened lately in my life and in my past. One was finding good friends who help guide you and inspire and then you find someone that helps you zero in on your ideas. I found a person that has helped me find that zone of conscience to draw from my ideas and bring them into reality with intention. A focus coach you might say. My friend, DeeJae DuRante. has helped me with my accountability and focus. To say I was all over the map with my ideas and content was a huge understatement. Havoc and chaos were a way of life in what I would use to make a statement. Those things are still a part of how I create but I have also have learned to center the ideas into my creativity and my works.
I love to approach the creative process but like anything that I would do in my past if I did not set a goal or take the time to focus on an outcome. Nine times out of ten, the work I create would be incomplete. Having really seen the power of focusing on things and getting them finished has given me a new perspective on how I approach a new idea or project and helps me see if it is worth my time and investment. Today, I decided that I would take on a challenge that Luke Matthews has started by putting out that he would create 10 posts in one day on LinkedIn. Inspired by this...I wrote on a scrap piece of paper if I could do the same. When I weighed the pros and cons of doing this, I realized that it was possible and the payoff could be huge but it was going to require me to focus on creating useful content.
This is one of the hardest tasks that I figured would be to get out and accomplish because I wanted it to have real meaning and purpose. This I feel has been accomplished and I am well on my way to finishing this challenge. I want to thank all my VIPER family for the support and the other wonderful people that have added to the fun and creation of something really great. In summary, it takes a village to help you really find your groove and I feel that all the amazing people that have supported and invested their time with me are hopefully seeing the ROI. Have a safe and happy rest of your Tuesday LinkedIn family.
