Creating a fulfilling life - my advice to you, incorporated within a model!

We all want more than just fleeting moments of happiness — we want a life that feels truly rewarding, purposeful, and balanced. If you've been feeling like something is missing or you’re not quite as fulfilled as you could be, it might be time to explore what truly nurtures your well-being.?

One of the most powerful frameworks I have used is Seligman's #PERMA Model, which focuses on five key areas that help us create lasting well-being and happiness: #Positive #Emotions , #Engagement , #Relationships , #Meaning , and #Accomplishment .?The reason I like this model is because it brings all important aspects together in one place and, thus, makes refection easier and more transparent! ??
Here’s how I started cultivating each of these pillars in my life and my insights to you as advice with concrete tips!
1. ?? Positive Emotions: Increasing Joy and Gratitude? ?
Do you sometimes find yourself getting caught up in the stress of daily life and forgetting to experience the small joys? It’s normal and we all do it - no worries! ?? But intentionally focusing on positive emotions can make an enormous difference in how you feel day to day.?
My Advice: Start with a simple practice I would like to call the "Day Protocol of Positive Emotions":?
1. ?? Engagement: Finding Flow in Everyday Activities? ?
When was the last time you felt completely absorbed in something you were doing? That feeling of "flow" is so powerful, and it’s one of the keys to feeling engaged in life.?
?My Advice: Identify those activities where you lose track of time, whether it’s working on a project, a creative hobby, or even physical activity:?
2. ?? Relationships: Building Deeper Connections? ?
You might have heard this millions of times already but let’s face it: our relationships are often the most fulfilling (and sometimes the most challenging) part of life! But when we nurture them, they bring us so much joy and meaning.?
My Advice: Make a conscious effort to deepen your relationships. ?

3. ?? Meaning: Finding Purpose in Life? ?
Have you ever wondered what really gives your life meaning? It’s not always easy to define, but finding a purpose that’s bigger than yourself can make all the difference.?
My Advice: Reflect on the things that bring you a deep sense of purpose — this could be through your work, helping others, or even just the way you approach life.?
4. ?? Accomplishment: Celebrating Success and Growth? ?
Sometimes we get so caught up in what we haven’t achieved that we forget to celebrate the small wins along the way. Accomplishment isn’t just about reaching big goals — it’s about acknowledging your growth at every step.?
My Advice: Try creating a vision board. ?

Becoming aware of what brings meaning to someone's life is one of the topics I'm working on for my newest website addition and currently struggle with phrasing it.
