Creating Delayed In-State Notifications in SOLIDWORKS PDM

Steps to Create Delayed In-State Notifications

1. Open the Administration Tool:Launch the SOLIDWORKS PDM Administration tool. Log in with the appropriate credentials.
2. Edit the Workflow:Expand the Workflows section. Double-click on the desired workflow to open it in the workflow editor.
3. Select a State:Click on a state within the workflow to open its State Properties dialog box.
4. Add a Folder Notification:Navigate to the Notifications tab. Click Add Folder Notification.
5. Choose the Folder:In the Select Folder dialog box, choose the folder for which you want to create the notification and click OK.
6. Configure the Notification:In the Folder Notification dialog box: For Type, select Delayed in State. Specify the number of days the folder can remain in the state before the notification is triggered. Optionally, set a resend interval (if you want to receive reminders). On the Recipients tab, add the users or groups who should receive the notification.
7. Save Changes:Click OK to complete the notification and close the State Properties dialog box. Save the changes to the workflow.
