Creating Curated Content on the go!

Creating Curated Content on the go!

One of the things I am most often asked by my coaching students is:

How do I keep my social media feeds full of useful content for my audience?  I just don’t have time to be on social media all day!

It is a bit of a catch 22, if you don’t keep content up to your social media channels your work will dry up, but if you’re spending all your time on social media you won’t have enough time to do your work!  There are a couple of basics I teach my students including the importance of a social media plan/strategy – if you need help starting and running social media strategy that keep a flood of customers at your door then check out our Social Media Calendar service.

One of the techniques we use in the calendar service involves curating other peoples content – that way not everything has to come from you!  And you become a one stop shop for everything to do with your industry.  This puts you and your business in a position of authority, you’re seen as an expert in your industry (as you should be).  The beauty of curated content (apart from the fact that you didn’t have to create it in the first place) is that you can use a few easy to use apps and have your social media feeds pumping out quality information all week while you get on with work.

In order to demonstrate the technique that I use regularly via my iPhone or iPad (you can do it on any smart device, or even your computer) to my coaching students, I’ve created a video showing you exactly how I create curated content on the go in minutes!  This technique will shave hours off your marketing time (you can do it anywhere as long as you have your device with you), its actually fun and you’ll become an authority in no time!

It quite feasible that you could spend 1 – 2 hours on a Sunday flicking through the latest information in your industry, make your comments or observations and thanks to a scheduling app, forget about it for the rest of the week – to your audience it will appear that you are always there ??  You’ll still need to responding to any comments/responses on your social posts, but thats fun.  This technique is easy, simple, quick and effective.

Love to hear how you save time and still manage to keep your audience happy on Social Media?
