Creating a Culture of Quality
Quality assurance is often assumed to be a narrow slice of work—something that happens in between writing code and getting it deployed to production.
But quality doesn't happen at just one point in time, and it encompasses more than your testing tools or your bug count. Quality is a mindset, and it's a culture that your team — and your entire company — should be involved in.
But how do you actually implement this culture, and why is it important? I wrote about my experiences working to create this culture at my job, including some of the challenges along the way! You can read more about this culture of quality on TechBeacon (and hear me talk more about it at TestBash San Francisco in November): https://techbeacon.com/how-i-created-culture-quality
I like the practice of, "I do, we do, you do." Usually I see only the "I do" part. Great article and great resources included in the article, Angela. #quality
