Creating change through giving back...

The rich history of Baltimore has always been striking to me, almost as striking as the need to protect it. Since moving up here for work 2 years ago, I have been honored to work on several non-profit fundraising initiatives in addition to my normal work in the definitely-for-(a lot of)-profit arenas. 

Last year in April, it was a fundraising campaign in a post-unrest city that generated over $40k for the Baltimore Community Foundation. This year in April, I am part of an incredibly diverse and knowledgeable steering committee for a new fundraising gala to benefit the Baltimore National Heritage Area, which provides grant funding for the preservation and protection of historic Baltimore neighborhoods and sites. 

The BNHA has created this incredibly fun, entertaining and fresh idea for an inaugural gala with the goal of raising $50k in NEW grant funding for the 2017/18 fiscal year. Every penny raised goes directly to new grants to help preserve and honor Baltimore's rich history and charm. 

With fantastic cocktails, celebrity guests, delicious local cuisine, and performances by fabulous female-impersonators AND super-talented locally based performance artists this event has the right formula to reach a wide spectrum of philanthropic-minded Baltimore metro-area residents!
