Creating Chances out of Challenges

Creating Chances out of Challenges

A lot of companies shifted to a work-from-home setup when the pandemic struck. In only a few weeks, our lives went through a drastic change. Businesses were forced to move their work outside the office. Many of us had no choice but to adapt—or simply yield in the face of adversity. But if there’s one good thing COVID-19 brought us, it's innovation.

What Changed??

Due to social distancing norms and nationwide lockdowns, the inevitable surge in the use of digital technologies enabled many companies to explore new ways of work such as internet-based services to communicate, interact, and continue with the business.?

People have become more inclined to work with technology. However, there were several factors that needed to be taken into account when innovating like secure workplaces, reliable internet connections, and mental fortitude for the stress of working in a new environment. This generation’s tech-savviness may be a plus to the new work setup, but the sudden shift of working virtually is not necessarily more convenient for them.?

Continuity and Trainings?

To answer the limitations brought about by the constant lockdowns, the company had to innovate in order to maintain its service.?

Innovative Learning?

Training for new hires is done via the company’s newly formed Learning Center. They train on-site for one-week then continue their full training on HIPAA policies on their second week.?

This focuses on technology-driven and nontraditional learning methods with the goal of empowering our staff with a set of information and access methodologies they can independently learn.

Branched-out Service?

Contrary to what happened to most companies during the pandemic, Xillium opened its branches in different parts of the Philippines—Iloilo, Roxas, Bacolod, and Cebu. This scalability feat enabled the company to connect with a pool of healthcare professionals all across the country.?

Xillium’s Innovations

Xillium has been remotely providing its services to its clients for years, but still, the company had to make adjustments. These are not mere adjustments, however. They are innovative measures not only to cope but also to grow.
