While our platforms have been through many evolutions, with different cohorts of students coming through our virtual doors, what always remains the same is our understanding of their journey.?

It all starts with the students
Who are they? What are their motivations? Their pain points? What do they want from Uni Compare? There's no one better to answer these questions than the students themselves!?
Through interviews and surveys, the answers from our students helped shape our brand strategy. We must look beyond demographics to truly understand who our audience is and what they need.?
With these insights, we ensured our mission and belief remained aligned with our audience's wants, before moving on to update our brand personality.
Our visual identity
Realigning our brand strategy allows us to see a clear path for our visual identity, again leveraging our students to have their say in how they perceive us.?
We aim to acknowledge that every student's path is unique, using our brand elements to visualise this - moving away from illustrative elements and instead putting the student in the centre of the brand.
We redefined our fundamentals with an updated colour palette and font that retains the knowledgeable feel while ensuring it’s approachable and timeless.??

Our logo? A very subtle change to bring it in line with our new colour palette. It remains its cheeky, friendly self!?
Our tone of voice
From coursework to exams to uni applications, it's an overwhelming time for students and we're not here to complicate things further with the language we use. We aim to cut the fluff and simplify our language while remaining knowledgeable and supportive.?
At Uni Compare, we have the Spirit Celeb, Watsofry, to guide our tone of voice.?

Watsofry is a supportive, wiser personality who has the knowledge to support our students on their journey. We're here to break down the information you need and keep you motivated throughout the application process.?
Ultimately, we're there for our students. Whether it's cheering on Results Day or realising their path looks a little different from planned - we keep things personable, approachable and consistent in the way we speak to our students.?
With these changes, our mission and position have never been stronger. We continue to roll out the changes across our platforms and are excited to continue this journey!
