They labeled him as "the father of death," highlighting his invention’s destructive power. This shocking realization caused Nobel to reflect deeply on his life and the legacy he was creating. Determined to change how he would be remembered, he decided to dedicate his wealth to rewarding the greatest achievements in humanity.
